Many of the OEM factory ecu's are very capable and highly engineered units and sometimes spending money on various aftermarket ecu's is costly and totally unnecessary. This can often get you poor results, a loss of refinement and all important factory safety features rather than simply tailoring your factory ecu to suit your cars modifications, its planned usage be that economy , rally, race or fast road and ultimately custom tuning your car to your preferred driving style.
Our company carries out all its tuning and mapping procedures on the road, why?.....because that's where most of us use our vehicles. Using this procedure you get a real world tuned and tailored custom ecu remap and not just some Rolling road print out that looks great on paper but can sometime show drivability issues on the road.
Whilst the modern dynamometers have there uses they cannot create the real world everyday conditions that your car experiences on the road and on the track. The environmental conditions cannot be accurately replicated with regards to aerodynamics around intakes/ pressure changes due to air velocities / intercooler or charge air temps, Engine cooling etc. Here at Linkmap Performance we will build you a custom, on the road map, that suits your car and not some off the shelve generic map that is sometimes used by a lot of companies with invariably poor results.
